Exploring new style

The result – A minimalistic triptych

Lately, I’ve been stepping outside my usual comfort zone and experimenting with an illustration style that blends the quiet elegance of Japanese prints with the framing techniques of comics. The process has been less about strict rules and more about letting composition, texture, and rhythm guide each piece.

And here’s the result of this exploration – a minimalistic triptych: blooming socks, a tangerine tree, and a girl before the rising sun. Each panel balances the others while staying connected, like three verses in one haiku.

I plan to turn this into a series of illustrations, continuing to explore this style. For me, it’s about finding harmony in simplicity and letting small details carry the mood.
